Dina & George got married!!!
London Ontario Wedding

My very best friend Dina got married yesterday!!! It was a perfect day and she may just have been the most beautiful bride I've ever seen!! She also may be the most photographed bride as well - myself, Lindsay, Jenn, Niki and Shannon all took photos!

I'm in love with this photo and just had to share the sneak peek I sent them before they leave for their Thailand honeymoon tomorrow! The rest will be up after we catch up on posting the rest of our 2007 weddings.

Congrats Dina & George - I love you guys!!

The Bride's Ball
Friday, February 29th

We are SO excited to be a part of this amazing event happening at the Lamplighter Hotel in London on Friday, February 29th 2008. Put on by The Wedding Ring, the Bride's Ball gives you a chance to wear your wedding attire again AND raise money for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

I'd like to extend an invitation to HRM couples / blog readers to join us at the Bride's Ball. We are offering to sponsor half the ticket price for seven couples - meaning your tickets will be only $42.50/couple instead of $85/couple. Please email me as soon as possible if you'd like in on the fun as we only have seven sets of tickets available! We've also got a photo shoot in the silent auction and will have an onsite photo booth set up.

If you don't want to go 'totally bridal', throw on a cocktail dress and a tiara, get your man to wear a suit jacket... You can also bring a girlfriend or family member who might be more into dressing up than your hubby! For more information, check out The Bride's Ball website.

Melissa & Peter
London Ontario Wedding

Melissa contacted me about photographing her wedding less than two weeks before it was happening - talk about last minute!! They had been engaged for quite some time but had never gotten around to setting a date. One day they said "I think it's about time we do this" and two weeks later they were saying their vows!! You would have never known that this wedding was put together in just two weeks - it was a fantastic day! I think sometimes weddings can end up being "over planned" and "over thought" - not this one, there wasn't enough time to worry about anything! The most important things to Melissa and Peter on this day were simply to get married and spend time with their closest friends and family. Their laid back approach made this one of my favorite weddings this year!

When we first arrived at Windermere, it was pouring rain... it stopped just in time for Melissa and Peter to see each other before the ceremony. We did their photo shoot early so that they had more time to spend with their guests afterwards.

Shortly after they saw each other for the first time, it started POURING rain again!!

but, a little rain didn't stop this bride from enjoying her day!!

T

he skies started to clear right as we were ended the photo session... we had just enough time to get some beautiful shots with the sun coming out

I love this shot of Melissa getting a kiss from her new father in law during the family photos

Before dinner, Melissa & Peter stood up and did a quick introduction of each and every guest there - definitely an advantage to having an intimate wedding
