It was such a pleasure to photograph Rachel and Evan’s wedding day. It was clear that above all, they were truly excited to be married to each other and starting the next chapter in their lives together (which is what it’s all about!)
We started the day at the hotel with the wedding party and had the chance to photograph both the girls and guys at the same time as they were in rooms at opposite ends of the hallway. We then made our way over to Deer Creek Golf Club for the ceremony and reception. We have seen so much rain this year that it was great to finally witness a beautiful outdoor ceremony without a single drop of rain (although there were a few clouds looming that made us work at a quicker pace during the portraits!)
During the portait session, I felt I had Rachel and Evan’s complete trust and they were up for anything. I am so happy with the photos we got and even happier we made it inside for a nice cozy reception without getting caught in the rain. I loved the beautiful details throughout the wedding such as the flowers done by Cool, Green and Shady (who will also be doing my wedding flowers!) and the yummy candy bar that Rachel put together.
