I’d like to dedicate this post to Tamera’s mom who sadly passed away just a few weeks after Tamera & Simon’s wedding. I’m so glad I got to meet her and capture memories of her for Tamera & her family on what I’m sure was one of the happiest days of her life. Tamera – she looked so proud of you all day long, your so blessed to have had her there to celebrate with you.
Onto the wedding…. what a beautiful day!! Every little detail was lovingly arranged by Tamera who is also an aspiring wedding planner (as soon as her business is launched I’ll be sure to post details!) Samirah from Designs in Bloom helped make Tamera’s visions come together with stunning flowers and decorations for the wedding ceremony & reception at Bellamere Winery. August 15th was by far the HOTTEST day of the summer, so instead of making the wedding party melt during the scheduled photo time we made a deal that they could enjoy cocktail hour instead as long as they were up for resuming photos right after dinner. It was a great compromise and we got to shoot in soft evening light in the field behind Bellamere. Beautiful! Congrats Tamera & Simon – I’m so excited that soon you’ll be planning more weddings (even if they’re not your own) as yours was absolutely picture perfect!
