It’s been a long time since I’ve done any music photography (that used to be my primary focus!). When my friend Sam contacted me to do some promo shots to be used in her upcoming album, I was super excited for the shoot! Sam is a beautiful person both inside and out and a very talented singer/songwriter (check our her myspace page). I tried out some different processing techniques for these shots as I thought it suited her style – what do you think?
Just last week, Sam sent a message out to her friends letting us know that she’s been diagnosed with Lymphoma. Everything has happened very quickly but the good news is, they’ve caught it *just* early enough that she has a great chance of beating it. She’s having intensive chemo treatments as we speak. Please keep her in your prayers – I know if anyone can beat this it’s Sam. We love you Sammy, stay strong!!!
