Chantel & Rodney
Toronto Wedding

Chantel and Rodney were a referral from some amazing past clients so I knew that it would be a great day! It was also my last wedding of 2009 and I was crossing my fingers for nice weather (which we got!)

We didn't have much daylight left, so after the ceremony we drove straight to the Manor for portraits of the bride and groom. I was so happy that we made it there before sunset to capture the beautiful location. Once the sun had set, we explored the inside of the venue for the wedding party portraits before heading into a cozy reception.

Blair & Dave
Atlantis Wedding

Blair and Dave booked me over the phone and I didn't meet them for the first time until their wedding day. They made me feel like an old friend right from the start and we had a great time photographing them. They chose to see each other before the ceremony which was a good call as with daylight savings it was dark by the time dinner started. We were worried it was going to be too cold for photos outside, so booked Allen Gardens in Toronto as and indoor wedding photography location. It was just warm enough to get some shots outside too and we got down to Sunnyside Pavillion before heading to Atlantis for their ceremony & reception. Congrats Blair & Dave!

Kyla & Troy
Lamplighter Wedding

When Kyla first came to meet with me, she was excited about her wedding, but more excited about gushing over Iris who was just a few weeks old at the time. Kyla told me how she wanted to have a baby "soooooo badly". I truly believe, that if you put things out to the universe you'll get what you ask for and I wasn't surprised when a few months into her wedding planning she told me that she and Troy were expecting! Kyla was due in March, which is when Iris was born so I was able to tell her exactly how I had been feeling the same time the past year.  I think that it's so special that Kyla & Troy's son (Evan was born in March) will be able to look at their wedding photos and see that he was in them! Their wedding was a fantastic party - one of her bridesmaids gave hands down the best, most hilarious speech I've ever heard (wouldn't be surprised if it was on youtube!)

Congrats Kyla & Troy - I'm so happy I met you and look forward to lots of playdates with our little ones in the future (and eventually Kyla and I will finally get to have a beer together!) I'll be uploading Kyla's awesome maternity session (she did snow angels!) and Evan's newborn session shortly so stay tuned for that!
