Melanie & Graham
Toronto Ontario Engagement

I think it is pretty safe to say that Melanie and Graham are a fun couple to be around. Engagement photos should reflect the couple and their relationship and these crazy photos show just how awesome Mel and Graham are.  Stay tuned for their amazing barn wedding which took place on July 24th!

Robyn & Kian
Robyn & Kian {Woodstock Wedding Photography}

Looking through Robyn & Kian's photos I can't help but feel all warm and fuzzy - the bride, groom, their wedding party and families were all just so nice to us the whole day. The bride even insisted on making us sandwiches before we left for the ceremony - in her wedding dress! A little bit of love goes a long way - we appreciate small gestures from the couple & their wedding party so much and from the moment we walked in we felt the love from this group! Weddings should be joyous, stress free celebrations and that is exactly what their day was. We loved it!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: a fun and emotional celebration!

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride:
The best part of the day was the anticipation, emotion, and excitement I felt just before walking down the aisle. The speeches also stood out as an incredibly special part of the day.
Groom: Having everyone I care about in one room.

Best wedding related decision: The venue was perfect - the stone foundation for the outdoor ceremony made for a nice backdrop, I loved the long walk to the aisle (added some drama!), and the reception hall was the perfect place to host a party.

Favourite detail: The ceremony music was a nice blend of our personal tastes and added to the emotion of the day.

Advice for future brides & grooms: Take some time to relax with your groomsmen/bridesmaid in the morning. Set the tone for the day and the wedding will be just as fun and relaxed as you make it.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? We would remember to print the first half of our speech!

Best surprise of the day: One of the bridesmaids, Jane, kept the first email that the bride wrote to her about her first date with the groom and she read it during her speech..."I went on a real date with someone that I have a real crush on..." Funny, touching, thoughtful!

VENDORS: Ceremony Location - Craigowan Golf & Country Club | Officiant - Deb Young (Kettle Creek) | Dress (designer and/or store) - Jai Bridal | Flowers - Village Vines | Decorator: 4 hearts, 2 hands | Hair - Lexi Cambridge | DJ - Music Central

WEDDING SONGS: Processional - Reign of Love, Coldplay; Til Kingdom Come, Coldplay | Recessional - I Feel it All, Feist | Entrance - Say Hey I Love You - Michael Franti and Spearhead | First Dance - No Other Way - Paolo Nutini | Parent Dances - In my Life - the Beatles

Want to make your photographers love you forever??? Insist on making us sandwiches in your wedding dress.... this still cracks me up, Robyn you are awesome!

Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?):
Bride: It's so difficult to choose! The hugs, the tears, the laughter after the ceremony and during the speeches and reception probably share the spot at the top of the list...although I also love the quiet moment with my Dad just before walking down the aisle (#213).

Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?):
Groom:
The black and white picture of us dancing where we're in the bottom right corner (780) - just a great photo!
