Kristi & Lindsey
Toronto Golf Club Wedding

Niki and I loved photographing this wedding! It started out as a rainy foggy day... driving into Toronto the day of the G20 summit was a little spooky - no cars on the road at all and just a thick cloud of fog! The idyllic setting of the Toronto Golf Club made it seem like we were in our own litle world for the day!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less:
Classic, elegant, love, friends and family

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Mid-way through the dancing I left the dance floor to talk to a few guests.  Lindsey came to find me for a slow dance when a favourite song of his came on, we found a quiet little spot outside where we could still hear the music, people talking and having a good time and it was the perfect moment where it was just the two of us alone, sharing a moment, but surrounded by the love and warmth of our family and friends.
Groom:My favourite was the moment that I saw my wife for the first time on our wedding day.  I remember seeing her vaguely through the glass doors, and then the doors were opened and I saw how beautiful she was!  The music was playing, and she started walking arm in arm with her Father.  It was a special moment.

Best wedding related decision: To include Lindsey's children in the ceremony and making a promise to love them as well as their father.  It made them feel special and truly marked the occassion as the start of our new life together as a family.

Favourite detail: The bridesmaid dresses and our bouquets.  They all looked totally amazing! smile

Advice for future brides & grooms: Make sure you steal a few moments through out the day for just the two of you.  Everything will fly by faster than you think possible.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? I would make sure I stopped dancing long enough to actually get to eat some of the dessert I agonized over choosing!  Everyone tells me it was yummy.

Best surprise of the day: My brother's speech surprised me becasue it was so sweet and heart-felt and he is normally just my teasing big brother.  Also, my grandparents who are normally in bed at 8, staying until the very end of the night!

VENDORS: Ceremony & Reception: Toronto Golf Club | Officiant: Mike VanSlingerland | Dress: Blu by Enzoani, from Ritches

WEDDING SONGS: First Dance The Way I Am - Ingrid Michaelson

A favorite HRM couple.... Sandra & Darren

Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?):
Bride: It's so hard because there are so many I like for different reasons!  Of the two of us, probably #428 because of the way we are looking at each other -we're both so happy.

Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?):
Groom: The shot where I am kissing Kristi and she is leaning back and the sun is shining through her veil

Alison & Mark
London Ontario Wedding

Nothing like a beautiful June wedding! We had a great time with Alison, Mark & their wedding party on this HOT sumer day! This was my first time shooting at Spencer Hall in the summer and it is such a stunning location - definitely one of my favorite spots for a London Ontario Wedding! Congrats Alison & Mark!

Love it when couples do a choreographed first dance - especially if it involves the robot!
