Ginny and Damien had beautiful sunshine for their wedding day! Even though it was super hot out the wedding party and bride & groom were such good sports about going to different spots for their photos! Love that we got a mix of urban and some traditional at the Old Courthouse! We really enjoyed that they had mustaches on a stick for everyone in the wedding party - it made for some hilarious images! Congrats to the fun loving couple!

Laurie and Ryan knew that they wanted to visit a location that had personal meaning for them and Fanshawe Pioneer Village fit the bill perfectly. The couple frequented this cool spot throughout their dating relationship and now they have even more memories to cherish. It was a long drive from Toronto, but I am always up for an adventure with a couple that has great ideas for their session. I mean, how awesome is it that we got to run around an old village all to ourselves?!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Elegant, rustic, romantic and fun

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride:  When the church doors opened and I began to walk down the aisle, seeing all of our family and friends looking at me and smiling, and most importantly seeing Murray for the first time! Also, our first dance as husband and wife!

Groom:  When I saw Eileen standing at the back of the church, I thought to myself that she looked so beautiful in her dress and I was the luckiest guy in the world! Also, after Eileen and I had exited the church, all of our family and friends came up to congratulate us and it was at that moment that it hit me that we were finally husband and wife!!

Best wedding related decision:  Choosing HRM Photography of course!!! Heather and her assistant took amazing pictures to capture our special day.

Favourite detail: Our Venue!

Advice for future brides & grooms:  Enjoy every minute of your special day because it goes by so fast!!!!!

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again?  We wouldn’t change a single thing - the day was absolutely perfect! Our wedding day truly reflected who we are as a couple and we enjoyed every minute of our special day.

Best surprise of the day:
Bride:  After several days of rain and cold temperatures leading up to our wedding day, finding what appeared to be the only blossoming magnolia tree left in London for our wedding pictures!!
Groom:  When I woke up on our wedding day, the skies were dark and gloomy and it was raining. By mid-morning the skies cleared and it turned out to be a sunny, picture perfect day!!

Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?): It is extremely hard to choose just one favorite picture because they are all so beautiful!

Anything else you'd like to add: We put a lot of time and thought into picking all of our vendors. Each and every one of them added their own special touch and subsequently made our wedding day truly incredible!!
