I wish everyone had beautiful farm properties for their engagement sessions! What a treat! I met up with Cindy and Steve on a beautiful summer Sunday in Strathroy for their engagement session. Love these shots! Lindsay will be photographing their wedding in a couple of weeks, although their reception is on the farm in Strathroy their ceremony & photo session will be in downtown Toronto which will make for an interesting contrast to these photos!

Kristi and Lindsey are a fantastic couple, referred to me by the fab Sandra & Darren (thanks guys!). We met at the Starbucks where they went on their first (blind) date and wandered around the area chatting about how they spent that first date and their wedding plans. A friend of theirs works at the Flatiron Building and we were lucky to be allowed in to take a few photos! These two were married on June 26th, 2010 and I can’t wait to share their amazing wedding photos soon!

Lianne and Gary are so much fun to be around! I don’t think that there is a minute in the day that this pair doesn’t enjoy spending together. I left the engagement session even more excited about their upcoming wedding (which I can now say was fabulous!)

Yorkville is so beautiful in the spring! I had a lovely afternoon walking through the streets of Yorkville with Krysia & Chris. They brought lots of cute ideas with them to this session and wore the perfect outfits – we love when couples dress up a little bit for their e-session!

Heather had told me about the beautiful “blue bell hill” that only lasts a couple of days and I was excited that I had an engagement session during the time it would be in bloom! It was the perfect backdrop for my session with Karen & Chris!

Mark proposed to Alison in Stratford (such a romantic little town) so what better location to do their engagement session? It was a beautiful spring night with gorgeous light – I love doing engagement & wedding photography in Stratford!

This ended up being a two part engagement session, day one was going fine aside from the severe wind warning that was in effect. Once the trees started creaking and we heard sirens over and over again off in the distance we decided it might be a good idea to try again the next day! No complaints though – Kristine is a very old friend of mine from public school, I hadn’t seen her in at least 12 years and was so happy to reconnect and have another chance to catch up! I always love when my photography gives me a chance to see old friends, especially when they’re happy & in love!

I love downtown engagement sessions! Teresa warned me before this shoot that both her and Rob HATE having their photo taken. I would have never guessed it as they both totally rocked this shoot… I think they actually surprised themselves! Their wedding is coming up in just a few days and I’m so excited to photograph them, especially now that they know how good they can look in photos!

Jackie wanted winter engagement photos and we lucked out with the absolutely perfect winter day – fresh snow on the ground and sun in the sky!  I always love when a couple brings along their furry family members – their dogs were a great addition to our shoot. This session will be a nice contrast to their summer wedding photos… I’m looking forward to photographing their big day in just a couple short months!
