Carolyn from In Bloom Photography contacted me to do some new headshots for her website… I’m always happy to help out another photographer and suggested instead of paying for a session with me, we do a photo trade! A funny outtake with Iris!

I love magnolia season! It came early this year and I took advantage with a couple of sessions while the blossoms were out! Victoria and her family were a dream to photograph, love those baby blues!

This was my third session for Zoey’s “baby’s first year” package… I love watching this family grow! Zoey is so full of smiles – a delight to photograph! Can’t wait for her first birthday session in the fall!

To celebrate the new addition to their family, Blue, the adorable red puppy (love the name!), Laura & Jason booked me for a portrait session. We had a great time walking around Springbank Park, a perfect photo location in London, Ontario. Blue was a great model for us!

What a special photo shoot this was!! If you live in London, Ontario you may have read about the birth of the Jones Quads in January. Elexis, Chelsea, Liam and Violet were born to Jen & Logan on January 21st all weighing under 3 pounds! I was so excited to have them into the studio for their “newborn” session – even though they were about 3.5 months they were all tinier than my Iris was when she was born. My good friend Yvonne as well as the babies Gramma Sue came along to help us out with the session but aside from needing extra hands to hold them, these babies were a dream to photograph! How is it that four babies in the studio caused less chaos than one normally caused? I can’t wait for our next shoot – we’re heading to a pumpkin patch in the fall, I’m already getting the hats made!

Oceana is one! I have had such a great time photographing Oceana and her parents over the past year. It is amazing to see how much little ones grow and change over their first year and these photos will be such a nice reminder for Larina and Angel when their little girl is all grown up.

A beautiful name for a beautiful little girl…. of course I’m a bit biased because after all my daughter is an Iris as well (I only wish I had my studio when she was a newborn)! I couldn’t resist using one of the Irises we had from our newborn session!

Ava is one of my daughter Iris’s BFFs… they’re only 12 hours apart! We had a blast throwing a little bday party for her in my new studio… Iris of course had to join in on the fun! I don’t even want to think about the trouble these two are going to get into on their birthdays in another 17 or so years! Baby’s first birthday photo sessions are so much fun!
