Mia + Brent
{London Ontario Wedding Photography}

To say I was excited about Mia & Brent's wedding would be an understatement!! I first met this wonderful couple a few years ago at Jackie & Russ's wedding and then again at Alisha & Will's When Mia emailed me in excitement to let me know that Brent had proposed and that she wanted to make sure I was available for whatever date they chose I was so thrilled!!

Their wedding day at Ivey Spenver Hall was absolute perfection (even with a little tornado warning while the girls were getting ready!). Mia & Brent, I can't thank you enough for trusting me to document your love story and hope to capture many more moments for you in the future!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Vintage/romantic with chalkboard signage

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Ceremony with Chris- being able to share our own vows.
Groom: Michelle walking down the aisle and seeing her for the first time in her dress.

Best wedding related decision: Having everything (ceremony and reception) in one location; and hiring the best vendors!

Favourite detail: Chalkboards

Advice for future brides & grooms: don't sweat the small stuff. No one will notice it but you.

Best surprise of the day: Double rainbow appearing after the ceremony!

Anything else you'd like to add: We had the most splendid day! Everything really did turn out wonderfully!

VENDORS:
Ceremony Location - The Rose Chapel | Reception Location - The Stoneridge Inn (Best Western) | Officiant - Wayne Previtt from Kettle Creek Weddings  | Cake - Melrose Bakery | Dress - Balletts | Flowers/Decorator - Springhill Flowers/ Tulle Tyme | Hair/Makeup - Essence Salon and Spa (Cambridge) | Caterer - hotel @ Stoneridge Inn | DJ - DJ Alpha | Other: Harpist- Tracy Sweet

WEDDING SONGS: Processional - various harp songs | Recessional - harp | Entrance - We Found Love by Heavy D | First Dance - Better by Tom Baxter | Parent Dances - Michelle by the Beatles, 93 Million Miles by Jason Mraz | Other - we did a "marriage dance" rather than a bouquet toss. The couple married for the longest time "won" the throw away bouquet. We used the song Who You Love by Katy Perry and John Mayor

Stefanie and Joe had a beautiful wedding at the always wonderful Bellamere Winery. This couple are so kind and loving, I loved getting to know them and capturing their big day!

We were extremely grateful that for their kissing game, Stefanie and Joe accepted donations to our charity Love Never Ends to make them kiss, thank you again!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Vintage Glamour

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: A surprise gift from my soon to be groom wrapped in a really pretty box waiting for me when I arrived for hair and makeup and  taking a minute before walking down the aisle for a quick look around at my handsome groom and a room full of all my favourite people in the world!  The day goes by so fast so I'm glad I stopped for a minute to take it all in.  I'll also always remember the wild fascinator my maid of honour wore during her speech in honour of my mom who passed away and loved all hats.
Groom: Seeing my lovely bride for the first time that day at the aisle.  Took my breath away.

Best wedding related decision: Our wonderful Venue and of course HRM! And can't leave out our M.C., she did an amazing job!

Favourite detail: String Quartet

Advice for future brides & grooms: A wedding planner is not the same as a wedding coordinator provided by the venue and is not as costly as you might think; It's a must in our opinion! Do your research and choose the one that suits your personalities best. Our wedding day was stress-free with everything running smoothly thanks to our planner!

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Nope!

Best surprise of the day:  All the work and preparation that went into speeches by our family and bridal party, complete with props!

VENDORS: Ceremony Location: London Hunt and Country Club | Reception Location: London Hunt and Country Club | Officiant: Rev. Tracy Crick-Butler | Cake and Macaron Favours: Grandma's Oven | Dress: Sottero and Midgley from Nicholas and Elizabeth | Wedding Planner: Twelfth Night Events | Flowers/Decorator: RL Design | Hair/Makeup: Selah Vie | Caterer: London Hunt and Country Club | DJ: DJ Central | Music for Ceremony/Cocktail Reception: It's a String Thing | Groom's Tuxedo Rental: Joseph's Clothiers

WEDDING SONGS: Processional: Pachelbel's Canon in D (Instrumental) | Bride's Entrance:  Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton (Instrumental) | Recessional: Viva La Vida by Coldplay (Instrumental) | Reception Entrance: Give Me Everything by Pitbull | First Dance: Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran | Parent Dances: You Are So Beautiful by Joe Cocker | Cake Cutting: Sugar by Maroon 5 | Bouquet Toss: Girls Just Wanna Have Fun by Cyndi Lauper
