Photographing a wedding day for any couple is heartwarming, but when it's an old friend from over two decades ago, it's super extra special! I had the best day following Danielle and her handsome boys around downtown Toronto for their lovely wedding celebration.

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Romantic summer downtown Toronto wedding !

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: the ceremony with all our family and friends, our son actually walked down the aisle!! Taking photos around the city and stealing a quick moment alone before being introduced into the reception
Groom: getting Ethan (our son) ready in his outfit, our first glance, dancing the night away

Best wedding related decision:  our venue was amazing!

Favourite detail: the flowers by Pocket of Posies

Advice for future brides & grooms: we got the advice from our officiant that once the wedding gets started it's like a train, once it starts in motion you can't stop it so don't stress just go with the flow. The other piece of advice is to try to steal a few minutes just for yourselves as newly weds before the chaos and fun of the night pull you in different directions

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? I would have splurged for the bubbly!

Best surprise of the day: Ethan walked down the aisle! We weren't sure that was going to work out!

Anything else you'd like to add: Our cake was incredible, so beautiful and so incredibly delicious we were so happy to have left overs!

Ceremony Location: Malaparte (TIFF) | Reception Location: Malaparte (TIFF) | Officiant: Mike Van Slingerland | Cake: Celenas | Dress: The Brides project | Flowers/Decorator: Pocket of Posies | Groom's Attire: Suit Supply

Jennifer + Bill
{Balzac's Coffee Roaster Toronto Ontario Wedding Photography}

I always look forward to photographing weddings at Balzac's Coffee in the Distillery District. This cute little cafe sets the tone for a warm, cozy and intimate evening celebrating love. Jennifer and Bill chose beautiful decorations to add their personal touch to the space. I really enjoyed photographing this union...and definitely teared up when their son wiped away tears during the vows!

Marielle + Jay
{The Grand Luxe Toronto Ontario Wedding Photography}

No detail big or small was overlooked for Marielle & Jay's stunning wedding day. This couple put countless hours into the planning of their celebration including the most beautiful ceremomy & reception decor and even a fancy horse to make a grand entrance! I loved that they had an outfit change as a nod to both of their cultures and a food truck to surprise guests with a late night treat to keep the party going strong.
