Danielle + David
{Malaparte Toronto Ontario Wedding Photography}

Photographing a wedding day for any couple is heartwarming, but when it's an old friend from over two decades ago, it's super extra special! I had the best day following Danielle and her handsome boys around downtown Toronto for their lovely wedding celebration.

- Lindsay

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Romantic summer downtown Toronto wedding !

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: the ceremony with all our family and friends, our son actually walked down the aisle!! Taking photos around the city and stealing a quick moment alone before being introduced into the reception
Groom: getting Ethan (our son) ready in his outfit, our first glance, dancing the night away

Best wedding related decision:  our venue was amazing!

Favourite detail: the flowers by Pocket of Posies

Advice for future brides & grooms: we got the advice from our officiant that once the wedding gets started it's like a train, once it starts in motion you can't stop it so don't stress just go with the flow. The other piece of advice is to try to steal a few minutes just for yourselves as newly weds before the chaos and fun of the night pull you in different directions

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? I would have splurged for the bubbly!

Best surprise of the day: Ethan walked down the aisle! We weren't sure that was going to work out!

Anything else you'd like to add: Our cake was incredible, so beautiful and so incredibly delicious we were so happy to have left overs!

Samantha + Martel
{Windermere Manor London Ontario Wedding Photography}

What a fun day this was! Martel's whole family and many friends traveled from Bermuda to London, Ontario for this special day! Samantha & Martel have a whirlwind love story: they met in Bermuda and had a beautiful long distance relationship that turned into happily ever after! Samantha's love for Disney made its appearance throughout the wedding in small little touches from the decor, cake and her fairytale dress! Their wedding party was a fun bunch who made the day a blast to capture and the happy couple are so adorable - we couldn't be happier with the images and memories we captured for them!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Disney, fairytale, princess, castle, magical

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: all the speeches made were amazing and the dance mash up with my dad was by far the best thing
Groom: My favourite part lol the look on her face when I went for the garter. I also really enjoyed the speeches.

Best wedding related decision: we decided to go with paper florals for all the bouquets, boutonierres, and corsages as now they are all keepsakes for everyone

Favourite detail: the beauty and the beast cake and cake topper

Advice for future brides & grooms: Everything really does work out in the end the way it's supposed to so don't fret. Also, make sure to have someone, such as the coordinator, on top of the order and proceedings and that's the schedule is followed. We almost missed cutting our cake and when we did remember it was rushed and no one saw us cut it because our secondary coordinator was not around!

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? I would take some more time to spend with people at the wedding. I never got a chance to see everyone especially my own family, to stop and chat and just see how everyone is doing.

Best surprise of the day: Martel's garter removal dance

Monica + Phil
{Portuguese Club London Ontario Wedding Photography}

This was such a fun day with a great group of people!!! We loved being a part of Monica & Phil's wedding day at the Portuguese Club of London! The weather was perfect for some beautiful portraits with bright blue skies and their reception was full of laughter & dancing!

- Heather {London Ontario Wedding Photographer}

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: simple, elegant, fun, and timeless.

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Walking into the hall and seeing all of our family and friends supporting Phil and I to our song "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" - Franki Valli and the Four Seasons.
Groom: When I saw Monica walk down the aisle.

Best wedding related decision: Picking strong vendors that have a lot of experience that can take charge when you don't have time.

Favourite detail: The picture frame that we made for people to take pictures. It was a replica from the Picture Frames in Montreal from when we got engaged.

Advice for future brides & grooms: Decide what the BIG THREE THINGS that are important to you are and set those as priorities, everything else is just gravy.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? It all goes by in such a haze, it would have been nice to have a few minutes with each other during the day to just soak in all that just happened and appreciate the amazing day that we spend so much time planning.

Best surprise of the day: Phil's 3 uncles and his dad singing Mony Mony by Billy Idol on the microphone.

Kim + Brian
{Pearson Convention Center Brampton Ontario Wedding Photography}

Kim, Brian and their wedding party were such a fun bunch to work with and be around! Rain threatened all day, but stayed clear in the afternoon for their photo session at the beautiful Adamson Estates. The light was just perfect and we got some amazing shots! When the rain finally did arrive, we snuck out from their reception for some quick picures in the rain!

- Niki {Brampton Wedding Photographer}

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Traditionally elegant mixed with fashion.

What are your favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: walking down the isle and finally seeing Brian waiting for me, feeling so much love and happiness from our guests. Once we delivered our speech, it was time to party!
Groom: having my groomsmen together getting ready at my home, our first dance as husband and wife and bringing Sonny's burgers to Uncle Steve.

Best wedding related decision: booking amazing photographers (Niki and Matt you both were exceptional! Also, videographers to capture our day. Our same day edit was worth the expense!

Favourite detail: PINLIGHTING

Advice for future brides & grooms: Take five minutes before your reception begins to soak it all in. It's been a hectic morning and you may not have had an opportunity to see the vision for your venue unfold. Take in the moment because people will wait for you. Do this together so you can appreciate all the time and planning that has gone into such an amazing day. Don't sweat the small stuff. Things will not go according to your plan but only you two will notice.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again?
Kimberley: I would have appreciated more time in the morning. It was so chaotic rushing to the church that we missed out on things at home.
Brian: not a single thing!

Best surprise of the day:
Kimberley: that the weather held out! It looked as if it was threatening to rain ALL DAY! Thankfully it only rained in the evening. The timing gave us such a breathtaking nighttime shot!
Brian: having Niki and Matt show us some sneak peeks of our day that we could surprise our guests with on our Instagram slideshow!

Sally + Tomas
{City Hall London Ontario Wedding Photography}

Sally & Tom were a joy to photograph! They have such a fun & relaxed vibe about them! Their wedding ceremony was on the roof of London's city hall with their closest friends and family, it was an amazing view of the forest city. We then went back to Sally's parent house where they had a casual post ceremony gathering. The highlight was when I saw the inflatable swans in the pool, and joked to Sally if she was going to get on it, she said no and then just as I was about to head out she jumped right on it! The best!!
