What a beautiful wedding day this was…. it literally left me speechless. It was a chilly and overcast November day when we started out. Natalie’s parents are both deceased, and when she walked into the church accompanied by her brothers all of a sudden the sun appeared out of nowhere and it was like a light switch went on – lighting up the whole church and shining down on this lovely bride. I’ve never seen it so bright in St. Peters. It was absolutely incredible, and from that point on a beam of light seemed to follow this couple for the rest of the day. My own mother had passed away just two weeks before this wedding, and this magic light that followed us round all day truly gave me a sense that your loved ones are always watching over you. Congrats Natalie & Danny and may this magic light always be with you!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Classic, simple, timeless & elegant.
What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Finally seeing Danny. Any nerves I had were gone immediately!
Groom: Sharing the day with friends & family.
Best wedding related decision: Having Heather & Niki take our photos!
Favourite detail: I thought that the bridesmaids looked incredible! The dark brown dresses with the leopard print shoes were amazing & pop of colour with the bouquets couldn’t have been more perfect.
Advice for future brides & grooms: The more you get done ahead of time, the more relaxed you are the week leading up to the wedding. We enjoyed every part of the day & more importantly remembered every single second!
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Nope, not a thing!
Best surprise of the day: Even though my parents weren’t with us physically that day, they seemed to light up every part of the day.
Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?): The picture in the front yard of the Bishop’s mansion in front of the two pillars. That gorgeous light followed us from the time we woke up until the time we arrived at the reception!

Natalie asked me to recreate a picture of her parents on their wedding day, and this is the result!
These two shots below are lit with completely natural light – a spotlight seemed to shine right on them through the front door!
