Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Traditional but relaxed
What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Feeling the love from everyone on the day. All the kind words and sentiments kept a permanent smile on my face for a few days at least.
Groom: The bride, She was beautiful. Also, getting all our family together in one space.
Best wedding related decision: Venue and Vendors, made it very stress free.
Favourite detail: Bride: The flowers and candlelight
Groom: The food.
Advice for future brides & grooms: If you’re doing winter wedding pictures, make sure you wear boots and bring a winter coat to wear when not being photographed. The photos were amazing but I was getting pretty cold by the end.
Groom : Don’t stay up and party until 5 am.
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? We had a gala style dinner with limited seating, the idea was people would be mingling around and at standing tables etc. I underestimated how many people would want to sit for the majority of the night. Maybe having the dance in the main area would have gotten more people up and on their feet.
Best surprise of the day: Groom – The perfect snowfall for photos. Bride – My mom attaching some lace from her wedding gown to my bouquet.
