Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Simple, elegant, classic, white
What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride:walking down the aisle with both my father and stepfather and seeing Matthew waiting for me. The sun-filled chapel. Our family-style seating with 88′ foot long tables filled with loved ones.
Groom: the anticipation of and finally seeing Maia walking down the aisle. The reception and being able to visit with everyone.
Best wedding related decision: hiring the vendors that we did and deciding to step back and allow them to execute our vision.
Favourite detail: the family style seating and long tables were dramatic yet allowed for simple tablescapes
Advice for future brides & grooms: do your research when it comes to vendors. Ensure you feel 100% with who you are working with. Go with your gut.
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? absolutely not.
Best surprise of the day: seeing the dinner reception room. We told Russell Rossini that we wanted white florals and low profile and simple tablescapes. Besides that we didn’t give him any further direction. Also, we asked Jess from North Moore for white linens and white plates. When we walked into the the room it was the first time we saw how they both executed our ideas. And we loved it! The (battery-operated) candle light reflected off all the clear glass vases and stemware and although the original ideas were simple, they were executed with elegance.
