I was so excited to photograph this wedding! This couple and their amazing friends and family that came with them to the Mayan Rivera to celebrate their love were so much fun! Brittany and Chris had their ceremony on the beach in the afternoon and it was light hearted and sentimental. Everyone at this wedding from the wedding party to their family members were so awesome to me, traveling down their on my own, they all made me feel so welcomed to be a part of the week long celebration! The reception was filled with so many laughs and amazing dance moves, don’t think I have laughed that hard in a long time. Brittany and Chris also had the most amazing moonlight for their first dance and some nighttime photos, it was like a dream! Congrats Brittany & Chris, thank you so much for having me there to capture your wedding experience in Mexico!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Laid back beach wedding!
What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Reading the vows we had written for each other, we kept them secret so it was amazing to hear them for the first time.
Groom: Seeing Brittany in her wedding dress (once I realized we hadn’t forgotten the rings!)
Best wedding related decision: Hiring a photographer we felt confident in. It was amazing to know that as all these once in a lifetime moments were happening that someone we trusted was capturing it. Niki was amazing!! She was always one step ahead of us capturing a great moment.
Favourite detail: It was all perfect, we can’t pick just one!
Advice for future brides & grooms: Make sure to give the rings to the maid of honour and best man BEFORE the wedding!! 
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Have a higher quality video taken – since it was a destination wedding we have had so many Family and friends ask to see our video – it’s a bit hard to understand with the wind noise in the background. But in the end the video was only ever intended for a memory for us – which it is!!
Best surprise of the day: That we were ahead of schedule and able to fit in our cake cutting, bouquet and garter toss AND tons of dancing in our short reception. That and the giant group hug with every guest at the wedding at the end of the night!!
Anything else you’d like to add: We can’t thank Niki enough – she was amazing – a hard worker capturing all of the important moments while also having fun – every person at our wedding loved her!
