This day….was perfect! From the getting ready all the way to the fun dancing! I think everyone should have a live band – it brings such a different element to the reception! Chantel and Jason were so fun and easy going and their wedding party were a blast! I suprised the bride and groom with a collage of photos of the wedding party while they were getting some shots with the videographer. I loved that there was a soccer field behind the Portugese Club – we took advantage of that for their night shot since Portugal had just won the world cup a week prior and the groom is a HUGE soccer fan! Congrats to the lovely couple!!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Elegant, Intimate, Fun

What are your favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Stepping into my gown, walking down the isle, and having a great time with family and friends.

Groom: Seeing my wife walk down towards me in her beautiful gown, hearing the priest say you are now husband and wife, and spending the most important day with family and friends.

Best wedding related decision: We’ve got many but a few to list are; booking our photographer, videographer and professional decorator, and deciding on a band for our reception.

Favourite detail: We loved it all. What we loved the most was the floral arrangements/centrepieces(the orchids), we had a few hollow square table designs that sat 12 guests, I was able to sit all our friends together. To this day I still get compliments from the Portuguese community that had never seen it before.
We also had a table with photos of our guardian angels. That meant a lot to us and our families.

Advice for future brides & grooms: Enjoy the planning and most importantly the big day because in one blink the night is over. I suggest paying a good buck for a photographer and videographer because they really do capture the day and allow you to relive that moment all over again and again for the rest of your life.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? I wouldn’t change a thing!! It was all meant to be
