Kim, Brian and their wedding party were such a fun bunch to work with and be around! Rain threatened all day, but stayed clear in the afternoon for their photo session at the beautiful Adamson Estates. The light was just perfect and we got some amazing shots! When the rain finally did arrive, we snuck out from their reception for some quick picures in the rain!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Traditionally elegant mixed with fashion.
What are your favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: walking down the isle and finally seeing Brian waiting for me, feeling so much love and happiness from our guests. Once we delivered our speech, it was time to party!
Groom: having my groomsmen together getting ready at my home, our first dance as husband and wife and bringing Sonny’s burgers to Uncle Steve.
Best wedding related decision: booking amazing photographers (Niki and Matt you both were exceptional! Also, videographers to capture our day. Our same day edit was worth the expense!
Favourite detail: PINLIGHTING
Advice for future brides & grooms: Take five minutes before your reception begins to soak it all in. It’s been a hectic morning and you may not have had an opportunity to see the vision for your venue unfold. Take in the moment because people will wait for you. Do this together so you can appreciate all the time and planning that has gone into such an amazing day. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Things will not go according to your plan but only you two will notice.
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again?
Kimberley: I would have appreciated more time in the morning. It was so chaotic rushing to the church that we missed out on things at home.
Brian: not a single thing!
Best surprise of the day:
Kimberley: that the weather held out! It looked as if it was threatening to rain ALL DAY! Thankfully it only rained in the evening. The timing gave us such a breathtaking nighttime shot!
Brian: having Niki and Matt show us some sneak peeks of our day that we could surprise our guests with on our Instagram slideshow!
