Jaclyn & Tim made the long journey from Australia to have their wedding at Dark Horse Winery in Grand Bend. When I initially met with them via Skype they told me they wanted a snowy winter wonderland for their day! Talk about manifesting their dream weather! We woke up to a fresh coat of snow the morning of their wedding and it was absolutely picture perfect! They had their nearest and dearest attended this New Years Eve wedding celebration and we were so happy to be there to document it. A big congrats to the happy couple!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Winter Wonderland, New Years, Snow

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: My favourite memory is being able to throw a snowball at my groom as our first look.
Groom: Waking up to freshly fallen snow

Best wedding related decision: Having our wedding on New Years Eve. At the Dark Horse Estate Winery

Favourite detail: Having Harvest style live edge tables and our venue.

Advice for future brides & grooms: Make sure you take at least 10 minutes as a couple away from everyone to enjoy the moment/day with each other.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Nothing

Best surprise of the day: The snow and hearing a speech from friends all the way from Australia

Anything else you’d like to add: The photographers were absolutely amazing! Both Niki and Jordan became a part of our family immediately helping us with any other detail outside of photography and taking photos of everything we want at the same time. Especially because we never meet the photographers face to face as we organised it all via email from Australia. Also North Moore catering were exceptional, our food was exactly want we envisioned and asked for. This again was an amazing due to it was all organised via email and never tasted the food beforehand.
