What a wonderful wedding! Meera, Simon, their wedding party & families were an absolute delight to work with throughout their whole wedding week! I absolutely love shooting Indian weddings and this one was no exception. Everything was absolutely stunning: the couple, the decor, the outfits – the list goes on. Meera and Simon planned their wedding while living in the UK and many of their wedding party and guests were from overseas. Simon’s groomsmen brought so much enthusiasm to the day with their dance moves and laughter over their “pointy” shoes. The energy was contagious – even when we started shooting at 8am! Congrats Meera & Simon, it was such a pleasure being part of so many of your wedding events and getting to know you and your families! All the best in Toronto!

Also, I must mention two fantastic vendors: The bride’s hair was done by Erin at Jaz and flowers/decor were by Patzee’s!

On a side note – A small miracle… as I am writing this post my sweet little Iris is not only napping during the day, she’s actually ASLEEP in her crib without anyone holding her! Yes, my daughter is 3 1/2 months old and has never slept in her crib before (she sleeps in our room at night) and all her daytime naps are in someone’s arms… makes things a little difficult at times! Anyways, I’m going to take full advantage of this miracle and might just get some more blog posts up this afternoon!
