If you told me 15 years or so ago that I’d be photographing Shawn’s engagement session I’m not sure what my reaction would have been… 15 years ago I was dating him! Yikes!! Many, many years later I photographed Shawn’s brother’s wedding and then sister-in-law’s maternity photos (coincidentally on the day Shawn proposed to Stephanie!) I was hoping that Shawn and Stephanie would contact me to do their wedding photography, but wasn’t holding my breath for it….  I was so delighted when Stephanie contacted me saying she couldn’t imagine anyone else being their wedding photographer!!

Every summer for as long as I can remember, my family has spent our summers in Bruce County – be it Port Elgin, Southampton or Sauble Beach. I was so excited when Stephanie & Shawn asked me if we could do their engagement photos at Sauble Beach (where Shawn proposed). I’ve only shot a handful of sessions in the area, but every time I have they turn out to my some of my favorite shots of the year – maybe it’s because I always make the trip an excuse to take a mini vacation and stay for a few days! Stephanie & Shawn – thanks again for asking me to be your photographer – can’t wait for the big day!
