What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: I don’t even know where to begin! I would have to say walking down the aisle towards Jeff! I knew it would be the most emotional moment of the day for me for many reasons. I lost my dad 9 months before the wedding, so not having him there to walk me down the aisle was difficult. My mom once again though astonished me with her strength and poise and it was such a blessing to have her hold my arm and give me away.  All through the rehearsal I kept reminding the girls to walk slowly down the aisle, but the moment I entered the door of the church, all my fears of not being able to keep my emotions under controlled went away.  I was over the moon and remember seeing Jeff beaming at the end of the aisle and I couldn’t help but do the same. My mom and I apparently walked at full speed down the aisle, but I couldn’t see the signals from my girlfriends telling me to slow down – Jeff was all that was in my vision and I was just SO excited to stand up there with him!
Groom: Seeing Ashley walk through the door of the church, she was beautiful and I just felt so lucky.

Best wedding related decision: Hiring HRM photography! It has been amazing being able to look back through the photos of the day and have ever little moment and detail captured! So many people who weren’t there with us that day for the wedding have said that they feel like they were right there along with us for the entire journey!

Favourite detail: our family tree of wedding photos of each of our parents and grandparents weddings!

Advice for future brides & grooms: Just relax and enjoy every little moment! It goes so fast!

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again?: Hire a videographer.  We had a family friend video tape for us the ceremony, dances, and speeches but the more we think about it, the more we wish we had had someone documenting the entire day and all the fun we had getting ready, taking photos, and dancing!

Best surprise of the day: The photo locations! We had kind of made the plan to have no plan and just see where the day took us for photo locations.  Heather showed up at my parent’s home and immediately found lots of amazing spots to take photos! We absolutely love it! To have the photos done with the back drop of the farm that I grew up on was perfect!!’
