After photographing Georgina and Danny’s engagement photos at Castle Loma, I knew that their wedding location would be just as beautiful…and it was! It felt as though we were tucked away in a secret garden for the ceremony in a very cute little chapel. The Briar’s is an incredible location and very meaningful to the Bride’s family. We had such a great time capturing this gorgeous wedding day.

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less:
Scottish, Elegant, Traditional, Classic, and Fun

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride:Coming out of the church after the ceremony, Danny and I were on cloud nine. One of my favorite moments, was knowing that we were finally married and showing my bridesmaids my new wedding band before anyone else came out of the church. During the wedding there were only a few moments that we had to ourselves, when no one else was watching, and this is one of my favorites.
Groom:The service, when my bride turned the corner in the aisle of the church. I really liked having an impromptu receiving line coming out of the church. Another of my favorite memory of mine is our first dance “Wonderful Tonight”.

Best wedding related decision: We loved our location at the Briars. The church was absolutely perfect, and the scenery was very Scottish.

Favourite detail : We had a 1 year old little boy running around in the church. This wasn’t planned, but he certainly stole the show. He carried his mom’s purse, and walked up to Danny at the alter with his arms stretched out as if to say “what about me?” This detail made our wedding ceremony very lighthearted. We are thankful to Lindsay for capturing the moment.

Advice for future brides & grooms: There is a chance that your wedding day will have its kinks. Don’t sweat the small stuff. You won’t even notice if things don’t go according to plan. Also, relax and enjoy the moment.
Brides… make sure you eat and drink water during the day. You will be so busy that you won’t even notice that you are hungry.
Grooms… do something you enjoy in the morning to make the time pass. It’s a long day and it takes less time for a groom to get ready. At our wedding, the groomsmen and men of the family played a round of golf.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again?
Not a thing!
