Wedding season is in full force and we are very happy to say that we are doing our best to stay on top of our blogging these days! Lora & Andrew’s wedding took place in late March and we barely managed to beat a snowstorm on the way to Hamilton for their ceremony. My friend Scott Williams from Capturing the Light Photography joined Niki and I as we photographed this day – we had a great time shooting with him (thanks Scott!) but be prepared, there are A LOT of photos in this post!! This couple is one of the nicest (and most photogenic) couples I’ve met and we just couldn’t put our cameras down! My favorite memory from the wedding day – I asked Lora how old she was, and then how long she had known Andrew for, the answer is the same number! This couple has literally known each other for their entire lives, amazing!

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: WALKING DOWN THE AISLE TO ANDREW, GETTING READY WHILE PARTY GOING ON AT HOUSE PRIOR TO CEREMONY, PHOTOSHOOT – ALL OF IT!!!!, BEING INTRODUCED AS MRS. KOSTAKIS AND WIFE OF ANDREW, FIRST DANCE…. THE WHOLE DAY IS MY FAVOURITE MEMORY OF MY LIFE!

Groom: WAITING ANXIOUSLY FOR LORA TO ARRIVE, HAVING HER FATHER HAND HER TO ME, BEING INTRODUCED AS HUSBAND AND WIFE, PHOTOSHOOT, LIMO RIDE, WALKING OVER THE ROCKS DURING PHOTOSHOOT, WALKING INTO RECEPTION HALL, DANCING THE NIGHT AWAY, BEING WITH LOVED ONES

Best wedding related decision: LOCATION, LIVE BAND, EXPERT PHOTOGRAPHER AND VIDEOGRAPHER

Favourite detail: SIMPLE ROMANTIC DECOR, SWAROWSKI CHAMPAGNE GLASSES, FLOWER GIRL’S VEIL

Advice for future brides & grooms: GET PLENTY OF REST THE NIGHT BEFORE, DON’T WORRY TOO MUCH – YOU CANT CONTROL EVERYTHING, SURPRISES WILL HAPPEN, LET THE DAY FLOW IT WILL BE PERFECT IN THE END, ENJOY THE DAY!!!!!

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? NO, NOTHING

Best surprise of the day:
BRIDE: SPECIAL KEEPSAKES HANDED DOWN FROM MY MOM IN A POUCH I HAD WHEN I WAS VERY YOUNG. SHE KEPT IT FOR THIS SPECIAL DAY… (PICTURES NO. 113. 114. 115. 119, 125. 132. 134) AND MY MOH’S SPEECH BEING IN ENGLISH ALTHOUGH SHE DOESN’T SPEAK IT.

IT’S THE BEST TO BE MARRIED TO THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE / YOUR BEST FRIEND YOU’VE KNOWN ALL YOUR LIFE AND CELEBRATING THAT SPECIAL DAY WITH YOUR LOVED ONES….
