Alyson and Tony’s wedding at the Rosewater Room was a perfectly elegant celebration! Alyson picked a dream team of many Toronto vendors that I always love working with (Makeup artist Nicole Richards, Officiant Jeremy Citron, DJ Michael Coombs and Planner Belle Fleur Events) and the day was absolutely flawless much in part to their collaboration. I’ve cut back on the amount of Toronto weddings that I book so it’s always a special treat when I get to go to the big city for the day. So many great little spots around every corner. A special thank you to my friend Cynthia for second shooting with me for this wedding!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Stylish, fun elegance!
What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: We did our photos prior to the ceremony, so Heather set up an unforgettable moment for when we first saw one another. The look on Tony’s face seeing my in my dress was overwhelmingly wonderful.
Groom: Seeing my beautiful bride for the first time!
Best wedding related decision: To do ceremony/cocktails/reception all back to back at the Rosewater Room.
Favourite detail: Using a beautiful coral/hot pink as our accent colour….it popped in all the photos!
Advice for future brides & grooms: Do what is right for YOU.
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? IN retrospect, we may have considered having a videographer.
Best surprise of the day: How calm and FUN the day was!
Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?): Oh geez there are too many!! We love the one of me tapping Tony on the shoulder when we first saw one another. We also love one where Tony/the groomsmen are hollering at the Bride/bridesmaids as we strut by!
Anything else you’d like to add: Selecting HRM was definitely one of the best decisions we made in the planning of our wedding. We love love love our photos!
