Janine and Chris are an incredibly sweet couple and I feel lucky to have been asked to capture their beautiful wedding day for them! The girls got ready at a bed & breakfast just down the street from me which was a real treat to photograph at! We got to try out our new photo booth for the first time at this wedding and it was quite the hit! Thanks Janine & Chris for being so awesome!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: meaningful, personal, family, friends, fun

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?   Bride: seeing the look on Chris’s face as I was walking down the aisle.   Groom: finally getting to talk to my wife after we walked back down the aisle after the ceremony, and again for our first dance. It was a really busy day and we hardly saw each other!

Best wedding related decision:  writing our own vows

Favourite detail:  the wooden table numbers, cake stand and card box (barn) that my brother made for us

Advice for future brides & grooms:  remember that the wedding is just the beginning. It should be a celebration but marriage is forever, not just one big party.
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again?  no!
Best surprise of the day:  Chris printed a photo of our cat, Muffin, on the back of his vows. It was so sweet!
Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?):  Janine -340, black and white – this is the moment after we had our first kiss as a married couple.   Chris – 543, colour photo of us in the corn field – this photo was really fun to take with Heather.
