Aimee & Jim got married on a perfect summer’s day at one of my favorite locations, The London Club in downtown London Ontario. Their son Jake was full of energy (as all toddlers are!) and it was a lot of fun to get some silly shots with him during the photo session! Congrats Aimee, Jim and Jake – you are a lovely family and we loved being a part of your big day!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: classy, elegant, traditional, family-focused

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: walking down the aisle to see Jim and Jake
Groom: seeing Aimee come down the aisle, having the entire crowd sing “If You’re Happy and You Know It” to our son Jake

Best wedding related decision: to host it in London because lots of family flew in from out west

Favourite detail: Wilson tartan on both Jim and Jake … beautiful and meaningful

Advice for future brides & grooms: Be a good planner! It pays off.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Get married 20 years sooner so my dad and Jim’s mom and dad could have been there

Best surprise of the day: That everything turned out SO well and there were not any major glitches – and that it didn’t rain!

Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?): 286 … because all three of us are happy and smiling and it’s tough to get a good toddler shot!

Anything else you’d like to add: Appreciated the thoughtful pictures including my dad’s photo, photos of the church were were engaged in, family sibling shot to recreate photo on my mom’s wall .. all those extra touches showed that as photographers, you added really meaningful shots to our collection .. thank you!
