What a wonderful way to spend a sunny Saturday! Amanda and Jordan are head over heels for each other and I am so glad we were there to catch every moment of their wedding day. I especially loved the photos we captured during our 5 minute photoshoot during dinner as the sun was setting. I look forward to hearing from these two in the future for more photo sessions:)

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: fun and relaxed
What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: When I finally got down the aisle and was standing beside Jordan, it was like it was just him and I up there
Groom: When I caught a glimpse of Amanda in the hall before the ceremony.
Best wedding related decision: The venue, it was everything we wanted, the room and grounds were beautiful and the staff was awesome
Favourite detail: Our entrance was our best detail. We had our groomsman Chris produce an audio clip introducing our bridal party and us like we were a hockey team entering the arena. We also entered in our favourite teams jerseys (Amanda Maple Leafs, Jordan Canucks)
Advice for future brides & grooms: Don’t stress the little things, if you can’t afford something just let it go, no one will notice what extras you didn’t have. It’s not important to break the bank as long as you prioritize.
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? We wouldn’t change a thing, everything was great and how we wanted it. Only little things went wrong and it now makes good stories and not everyone noticed anyway so it was great!
Best surprise of the day: Amanda made me a video from all my family that couldn’t come to the wedding from BC/Alberta. One of Jordan’s aunts gave me a ring his grandma used to wear all the time, I was very touched and am honoured that I was given that.
Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?): There are so many to choose from, HRM took a lot of great pictures. We really like the ones we took on the bridge, especially the one of Jordan and I (#430). It was a really great picture and caught a moment. There are so many pictures we love, its definitely hard to pick just one.
Anything else you’d like to add: HRM photography did an amazing job on both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. We will be hiring them again for sure! It was a perfect day and now we have great pictures to remember it! Lindsay was awesome!
