Seriously. I don’t even know where to begin with this post. I loved every element of Ashley & Daniel’s wedding from the beautiful gold details thoughtfully weaved throughout the decor, to the sheer joy and happiness that this couple shared with their friends and family . The venue selections were the perfect choices to carry out their vision….and I don’t know who ordered the giant snowflakes, but they were a great way to end the day with a quick (and cold) photo shoot.

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Elegant & Classic, Black & gold theme

What are you favourite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: The ceremony. It was such a beautiful and personal ceremony. We ended up standing next to each other instead of across from each other for most of the ceremony and that made it extremely special.
Groom:The freak April snowstorm, but our photographer got some awesome pictures of us.

Best wedding related decision: To switch venues at the last moment. We ended up having more people than originally anticipated, and it worked out perfectly.

Favourite detail: Arriving to our venue in my Great-Grandfathers Rolls Royce.

Advice for future brides & grooms: Take a few minutes after the ceremony for just the two of you to take in what just happened. It all goes by so fast, but it was nice to have that little alone time with just the two of us.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Almost nothing, except I wish I would have taken the time to write a thank-you speech instead of just winging it. I almost forgot to thank my bridesmaids!

Best surprise of the day:When all our guests broke into a flash mob during cocktail hour! My bridesmaid had organized the whole thing with everyone. Even the family from overseas were a part of it!
