Caitlin and Ed had a perfect spring day for their wedding at one of our favorite wedding spots – Fanshawe Pioneer Village (Niki will be having her own wedding there this September!) The beautiful blossoms were out and we took full advantage of them! We are excited to be photographing Ed’s best man’s wedding this fall as well!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Casual, travel, vintage, fun!
What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Walking back down the aisle to the song ‘Married Life’ from Up, and our literal tying of the knot handfasting portion of our ceremony.
Groom: Seeing Caitlin in her dress, and our dads doing a dance-off to ‘Single Ladies’!
Best wedding related decision: Keeping it small!
Favourite detail: The paper flowers that Caitlin’s aunt made!
Advice for future brides & grooms: Do what you want, no matter what anyone tells you! Everyone likes to give opinions, but your opinion is the only one that matters.
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? No! It turned out great! If anything we would have gotten married a bit sooner – we had a relatively long engagement.
Best surprise of the day: Ed’s grandmother writing a poem for us and reading it as a surprise during the speeches!
