I photographed Chantal’s Brother’s wedding a few years back and was thrilled when Chantal called to tell me it was her turn to walk down the aisle. Chantal couldn’t have picked a better location, officiant or Groom to make things official. Berkely fieldhouse is such a unique location with great indoor options (a bonus if your weding happens to be on a super chilly day such as this one) Jeremy Citron is my all time favourite officiant (He sealed the deal for me and my hubby!) and Sacha is just an awesome guy (whom I learned quite a bit of dirt on during the speeches!)

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Urban Elegance
What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Getting ready in the hotel room with my mom and girlfriends, stealing a moment to ourselves right after the ceremony
Groom: Seeing my beautiful bride, our first dance, speeches
Best wedding related decision: hiring our Wedding Coordinator, Shima from Palma Weddings & working with a venue where we could supply our own alcohol
Favourite detail: a customized wedding ceremony that merged multiple backgrounds and customs and our wedding colour candy bar
Advice for future brides & grooms: Don’t worry so much! As long as you’re married at the end of the day, everything went perfectly! (And get a wedding coordinator – someone to “run the show” on the day of).
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Worry less
Best surprise of the day: a very welcome wedding crasher
Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?): 472 in black and white – the one where Sacha is “riding” the lion and I am giving him a kiss – it is a perfect illustration what our relationship is like
