I photographed Christine’s sister’s wedding a couple of years ago and was so excited when Christine & Mark contacted me about their wedding day photography! When they told me at our first meeting they wanted a “Forest Gump” wedding, I was in love! They choose Fanshawe Pioneer Village as the backdrop for their ceremony & photos and it couldn’t have been more perfect. London is such a small town I ended up knowing 3/4 of the wedding party in some way or another which made the whole day even more fun! Congrats Christine & Mark, I wish you could get married to each other every Saturday!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Tying the knot, old school

What are your favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Eating popsicles with my new husband.
Groom: Walking to the altar with my best man, knowing the moment I’d been planning for a year had finally arrived.

Best wedding-related decision: Renting the schoolbus!

Favourite detail: Hand-painted signs, made by Mark’s dad.

Advice for future brides & grooms: Remember…no matter what happens, at the end of the day you’ll still be married.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? We would remember to bring our speeches to the reception.

Best surprise of the day: It wasn’t really a surprise…but it was really cool to see people from so many different parts of our lives gathered together for one special day.
