Clare was a bridesmaid in Ashley & Jeff’s wedding a few years ago and I was delighted when she contacted me about photographing her wedding! When she told me it was at Toronto’s fabulous new wedding venue, the TIFF Lightbox I was SO excited! It’s such a glamourous spot for a wedding, the rooftop setting is simply incredible! Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: A modern, fun, P-A-R-T-Y
What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Everything was perfect; seeing Darren for the first time as I walked up the stairs and having all my nerves vanish, I literally could not stop smiling ALL day, spending time with all of our friends and family who travelled from near and far, listening to all the fabulous speeches and dancing the night away.
Groom: Seeing Clare for the first time.
Best wedding related decision: Having a late afternoon ceremony at the same venue we were having the reception.
Favourite detail: There’s too many to choose from! The terrace, the lanterns, the sparklers, the up-lighting, the steel drum band, all of our vendors, can I keep going?
Advice for future brides & grooms: Enjoy every second of it. Everything always comes together and you probably won’t even notice the small things on the day, after all, you just married your best friend, it doesn’t get much better than that. HAVE FUN IT’S A WEDDING!!
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Not. One. Thing.
Best surprise of the day: Getting to hear each other’s vows that we had each written separately and shared for the first time at the ceremony. Darren’s were quite entertaining (as all of our guests would be sure to agree) J
