What a sweet & laid back wedding day! Dana and I are old friends from public school – it’s always nice to reconnect with old friends an even better to be asked to document their wedding day! Despite a little bit of rain, we had lots of fun doing their photos before the ceremony then everything cleared up for a bright and sunny ceremony!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Relaxed, happy, fun.
What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: No one memory stands out – just loved being with friends and family all day. I had a great time!
Groom: Surviving the ceremony and getting to the party!
Best wedding related decision: Encouraging all our family to arrive in London a week early. It was so great to have that week together, getting to know one another. It made the day, and whole wedding week all that much more special.
Favourite detail: One of my bridesmaids AnneMarie brought red butterflies for each of the girls. We ended up wearing them in our hair (and my mom wore one on her purse). They were completely unplanned and unexpected but they ended up being the perfect touch!
Advice for future brides & grooms: Nope! Ultimately one way or another everyone should make the day what they want it to be.
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? There are things I’m sure I would change but I was so happy with the way everything went. I am glad that we invested in an excellent photographer – I know that those photos will eventually be what we remember most from our day and I’m thrilled they turned out so well.
Best surprise of the day: Greg showed up! I think I was just surprised at how fun and relaxed I felt. That I had a few times during the day to sit and rest and just enjoy the moment.
Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?): I love the one where we’re sitting under the Congrats sign at the entrance and we both have our red shoes on. It shows who we are. I also love the one with Greg adjusting his nephew Noah’s tie. It’s so cute!
Anything else you’d like to add: The day went fast and it was hectic, but we had a great time and we’re thrilled to be married!
