Cozy on up, this is going to be a long one!!! I just couldn’t help myself with so many images because HOW CUTE ARE DANIELLE AND DARRYL!? I have known this adorable couple since they first started dating and was so thrilled when they asked me to photograph their big day. It was a fun filled day with so much laughter and happiness, I wish I could go back to it (especially on such a cold snowy day like today!) The details, which were for the most part a DIY effort by the bride and groom were all so sweet, and their “high tea” theme was my favorite!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Alice in Wonderland, vintage, historic, rustic
What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Our first dance. It was fun and goofy and very “us”.
Groom: Our first dance. All eyes were on us.
Best wedding related decision: Hiring Heather!
Favourite detail: Groomsmen’s bowties (handmade by the bride) and the Bride’s vintage gloves.
Advice for future brides & grooms: Get a wedding coordinator, even if it’s just a friend….and make sure they are assertive and pushy!
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? We would have employed a wedding coordinator for the day to go more smoothly. AND we would eat more food!
Best surprise of the day: Our nephew Ian – he surprised us with his energy and flare on the dance floor. Life of the party and so cute to watch! Plus, he had a special surprise for the bride and asked to slow dance.
Anything else you’d like to add: We were so happy with our choice to do PAD THAI for our late night buffet – it was such a hit. The food in general was excellent. We are so happy with how everything worked out and how our little details were noticed and appreciated by our guests (ie. colouring books, tea cups favours, etc.)
