MAGICAL! There is no better way to describe Dominique and Chris’s incredible wedding! When I first sat down with this newly engaged couple and their wedding planners from Blissful Bookings and they described their vision for an enchanted forest fairytale wedding I knew I HAD to be a part of it! It was truly an honour to be a part of this perfet day, and I can’t wait to capture more happy memories for this wonderful couple in the years to come!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: A magical, forest, enchanted, fairytale!

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: “THE ENTIRE DAY! Seeing my groom for the first time, my Dad’s speech, and feeling like a fairy princess”
Groom: “Seeing my bride walk down the aisle”

Best wedding related decision: Hiring HRM Photography – hands down the best/smartest money we spent on our wedding. That, and choosing to have a smaller- intimate family affair.

Favourite detail: Having both my Mom and Dad walk me down the aisle, as well as having the Groom’s Grandfather have a speaking part in the ceremony.

Advice for future brides & grooms: Stay firm in your priorities, take your time, enjoy the process, and hire professionals!!! Photographer, Venue, and Wedding Planners… worth every, (affordable), penny!

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? We wouldn’t change a thing…only wish the day lasted longer.

Best surprise of the day: Seeing my Groom cry when I came down the aisle, even though he SWORE he probably wouldn’t shed a tear, “not to get my hopes up” because he isn’t an emotional guy…

Anything else you’d like to add: Choose to surround yourself with people who are not only at your wedding to do a job, but genuinely love what they do and make you feel like they are there because they love you and want you to feel like the most special couple in the world. Everyone, including the team from Elm Hurst, our Photographers, our Wedding Planners, the hair and makeup team from Alycat, our florist/decorator Russell, our MC/DJ… all of them made us feel extremely cared for.

Favorite wedding picture (and why): We literally could not pick a favourite picture, BUT, an image we were truly in awe of, was the absolutely magical evening, family-group, sparkler shot!!! you NAILED it!
