One of my favorite weddings ever! Elana and Dan are such a sweet couple and we had a blast photographing their big day! Somehow my favorite weddings of all time always end up being ones where Lindsay and I shoot together (Paula & Mark, Dina & George, Michelle & John, Demitra & Alex to name a few) I’m sure all of these weddings would have been awesome regardless if we were shooting together or not so maybe it’s just good karma that puts Lindsay & I together for these days?
Elana and Dan’s wedding took place at the Old Mill in Toronto, a spot we know very well. I love that they added so many personal touches (gotta love those converse shoes) to the day and were able to bring some funky style to what is typically a very classic wedding spot. Our quick jaunt to the subway station (Elana’s idea) was genius – love that we were able to do that! The live band (Shugga) had the dance floor rockin’ all night… if only Lindsay and I weren’t both breastfeeding mamas (not to mention on the job) we would have loved to have a glass or five of wine and danced the night away with them!

The couple chose to see each other at the Old Mill before the ceremony – love this series!
The photo on the left puts the song “Signed, sealed, delivered!” in my head!
Their beautiful Jewish wedding ceremony took place on the patio of the Old Mill
We were so lucky to have amazing weather throughout the day, this is what it looked like outside during the reception!
