Elizabeth & Stephen

Toronto Ontario Wedding

Elizabeth and Stephen were the perfect couple to wind down the 2010 wedding season with. They also happened to chose a great venue…it felt as though we were in a secret club! I loved capturing this intimate family wedding for such a great couple.

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: A simple, classy, fun downtown soiree.

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: The first look, and our first photo’s together. It was fun to get out on the street and just enjoy each others company before the big event.
Groom: Dinner service. I really enjoyed sitting next to my new wife at our table with our closest friends, taking it all in. From there on it was all kind of a blur!

Best wedding related decision: This was a tough one – we have two that trump the list. One, to do a first look. Two, to have everything at one venue. Ceremony, pictures, reception, all in one easy place.

Favorite detail: The Venue. Everything about it was spectacular.

Advice for future brides & grooms: Let it all happen and enjoy the ride.

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Not a darn thing! It was perfect.

Best surprise of the day: We both secretly planned a little prezzie for each other, and each of us wore said gift for our special day smile

Anything else you’d like to add: Nope!

VENDORS : Ceremony Location – The National Club | Reception Location – The National Club | Officiant (if not a church ceremony) – Gordon Kushner | Cake – Natasha Lawrence | Dress (designer and/or store) – Kenneth Pool | Wedding Planner – ME! | Flowers/Decorator – Lorraine Healy | Hair/Makeup – Casey Shannon | Caterer – The National Club | DJ – Third from the Sun

WEDDING SONGS: Processional – Canon in D | Recessional – Canon in D | Entrance – None | First Dance – The way you look tonight, Tony Bennet | Parent Dances – done together, I hope you dance by Lee Ann Womack

Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?): There are too many to pick just one! We would have to go with the photo of us on the sidewalk, Stephen is holding my bouquet, and it the background is Busy Bay street, city buildings and construction in the background. It’s balck and white, and captures the feel our day perfectly. (below left)
