Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: elegant, rustic, classic and fun!
What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Having all of our friends and family together to celebrate with us.
Groom: Seeing Jackie for the first time, coming down the aisle
Best wedding related decision: Having the wedding on a Friday, and choosing Bellamere as our venue – it is such a beautiful spot and fit perfectly with what we were picturing for our wedding day
Favourite detail: The wedding cake made by my sister!
Advice for future brides & grooms: Try to relax and take it all in, the whole day and night goes by soooo quickly!
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again?: We would have liked to have known ahead of time what the pastor was going to say (and remove the whole speech about Orange Juice!!)
Best surprise of the day: Everything turning out so well despite the rainy weather…We were upset all week that the forecast was calling for rain, and sure enough it poured all day. We had to move the ceremony inside, but everything turned out even better than what we had expected – the setup inside was so beautiful and romantic with the candlelight, and the rain let up long enough after the ceremony so we could still do all of our pictures outside!
Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?): The head table shot (581), it captures a bit of everything – us, the room, the wedding party, and the guests all having a good time. And the ones of me and Alfie (our kitty), so happy we were able to get a photo with him!
Anything else you’d like to add: Thank you so much to Heather and Holly – they really helped the day run more smoothly…calming down a very nervous bride before the ceremony and keeping everyone n order afterwards so that we stayed on time and captured all of the shots we wanted!
