After many weeks with lousy weather, Kate & Mike had an absolutely perfect summer day for their outdoor wedding at CraigOwan Golf Club in Woodstock. As we drove into Woodstock, we went past a country fair and I just knew we had to take them their for their photos! I love when little surprise locations pop up on wedding days! Kate’s DIY details were some of my favorites I’ve ever seen – so pretty!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: DIY Rustic Chic
What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Seeing Mike for the first time all dressed up in his suit, wearing a ball hat of course!
Groom: Seeing Kate walk down the aisle
Best wedding related decision: Choosing a buffet-style meal, our guests seemed content to be able to choose what and how much that they wanted to eat
Favourite detail: The ‘cake’, my Mom and I (with a little help from Mike) made it ourselves so it was rewarding that it turned out so well.
Advice for future brides & grooms: Enjoy every minute, and don’t sweat the small details because when its all over, all you have are memories
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Wouldn’t change a thing.
Best surprise of the day: Our impromptu trip to the fall fair
