Looking back through Lara & Mark’s wedding photos stirs up so many great memories for me…I can only imagine what it brings back for the happy couple! This was truly a fabulous (and scorching hot) day. Lara and Mark are such lovely people and I am so thrilled that I got to spend the day capturing all of these moments. Thank you for being completely confident and trusting so that we could do our thing;)

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Celebration with nearest and dearest
What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: There were so many, seeing Mark at the end of the aisle is at the top of the list, our first dance, my dance with my dad, dinner and dancing the night away with our friends and family…
Groom: Seeing my beautiful wife for the first time when she walked down the aisle.
Best wedding related decision: Having the wedding at Hockley Valley Resort where our guests could spend the night, it was a long weekend so a bunch of our friends stayed for three nights and it made us feel like we had a destination wedding an hour away from our home.
Favourite detail: We can’t pick just one: our band, our photographers, the flowers, the amazing food and wine, my amazing hair stylist and friend, Dean being there to help me get ready, looking out and seeing our closest friends and family surrounding us when we took our vows.
Advice for future brides & grooms: On the day, the planning is done just enjoy your day and soak it all in. If anything goes wrong, your wedding party will take care of it. Take mental pictures, we looked around the church and remember where everyone was. It’s great to take a moment for yourselves, step away from the celebrations and just realize what that day means.
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Absolutely nothing.
Best surprise of the day: Leading up to the wedding we were so nervous. We thought we would both be so emotional and couldnt believe the elation and all encompassing happiness we felt on that day, the nerves were gone. We were on such a natural high. It was the best feeling.
Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?): There are so many it is hard to choose. We love the photo of us kissing on the hill with my veil flowing in the breeze, we had no idea that that’s what it would look like. We love all of photos against the barn doors. We love the pics of us getting ready with our wedding party. All of them! The girls truly captured all of the emotions of the day.
Anything else you’d like to add: We can’t thank Lindsay enough. She was brilliant to work with and we couldn’t be happier with the photos. We would suggest you to anyone!
