I love these two! Laura & William are such a fun loving quirky couple and their day was full of little personal touches that brought that out! Will gave by far one of the best speeches I’ve ever heard! And Laura changing into a white jumpsuit for her first dance (and then staying in it for the rest of the night) was brilliant! Comfort and style! Thanks to this wonderful couple for having me capture their wedding day!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Old Fashioned and Timeless Romance.
What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Grade 8 slow dancing to K-Ci & Jojo with my husband near the end of the night
Groom: The speeches that Laura & I made for each other. My speech was about Penguins and she surprised me by talking about Pelicans.
Best wedding related decision: Investing in GOOD photography– the day goes by in a flash and it’s something we want to remember forever.
Favourite detail: Wearing my grandmother’s hat for the ceremony. It gave the bridal attire a timeless look, and was the best way to honour her.
Advice for future brides & grooms: Make time in the day to go around and talk to your guests. We took every opportunity we could to really enjoy our friends and family. You will regret later on reading wedding cards and realizing you didn’t get a chance to say hello and thank them for coming in person!
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Get a wedding planner! As a Bride, whether you are a Project Manager or not, you want to enjoy your engagement– not be running a second job 
Best surprise of the day: The weather was terrible, in the most perfect way. It rained and stayed dry, EXACTLY when we needed it to. HRM stands for Heather’s rain miracles.
Anything else you’d like to add: The day is about you, but also not about you =) As much as you may want to sit and decompress at some points in the day (especially introverts), keep going! Take advantage of your surroundings and take everything in.
