Lindsay and Lucas were a referral from my good friend & fellow photographer Cynthia (whose sister happened to be in the wedding party!) It turns out I went to high school with Lindsay and there were a few familiar faces at the wedding – London is such a small world! I absolutely loved so much about this wedding – the elegant black & white colour scheme, the beautiful ceremony in the Lamplighter’s atrium and a super fun wedding party who were up for anything! Thanks for such a great day!

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Reception/Getting ready with the girls
Groom: Ceremony
Best wedding related decision: Lamp Lighter & HRM
Favourite detail: That it was “black and white”, less colour, simple.
Advice for future brides & grooms: In regards to planning a wedding: Don’t rush the process, plan early and utilize a longer engagement. In regards to being married: communicate, care, move on.
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Nope.
Best surprise of the day:
Lucas : from a friend of his from New Zealand (who was supposed to be in our wedding) but surprised us with being there via skype and did a speech during the reception.
Linds: How easy and smoothly it ran & father in law’s speech.
Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?):The picture from the wedding party shots – Linds and Lucas are stretched out holding hands, the wedding party is squeezed in between and behind us. We loved this one because it’s our most important friends and it’s a neat idea for a photo.
Anything else you’d like to add: Wish the party could have gone all night and we wish we had booked Heather until at least 10pm!
