Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Elegant, Inviting, Fun, Faith and Family
What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Seeing Shawn and walking towards him (and trying really hard not to cry), My Dad, stumbling over his only line when giving me away and laughing together about it, walking down the aisle as Man and Wife singing Frank Sinatra together, and dancing into the reception hall
Groom: Seeing my bride walk down the aisle towards me, Lisa’s Dad messing up his lines, the bridal party entrance dance, our first dance together, and then dancing with my Mom.
Best wedding related decision: Creating a Vision first, then choosing details that fit the vision. Our Vision was to recognize our Faith in every aspect for the Ceremony, and then creating a fun atmosphere for the reception. Because we had a vision, all of our big decisions became much easier to make. We also had a great team of professionals to help the day go smoothly.
Favorite Detail: The Disney movie centerpieces, everyone loved guessing what they were and making us kiss!
Advice for future brides & grooms: Try and stay calm, if you’re calm, then everyone around you becomes calm, and if you’re calm, you can handle issues faster and easier than if you get worked up and worry over them.
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? No. It was perfect!
Best surprise of the day: The video Montage made by my (brides) brother.
Anything else you’d like to add: HRM was fantastic! They were organized and efficient, and got right down to business, yet, they made you feel like you were just hanging out with friends. We got all the shots we wanted and didn’t have to worry about a thing. They even gave me one of the photographers coat when it started to snow! HRM, and Heather was one of the first choices we made, and it was one of our best ones!
