When Louise and Gordon first came to meet me to discuss their wedding plans, I was happily surprised to answer the door to a familiar face – Gordon and I were friends waaaaay back in public school!! Many years later, he’s just as nice as I remember and has found a lovely match with Louise.

I never know what to expect when I do an engagement session – will the couple be affectionate, silly, akward, camera shy? Without a doubt, doing an engagement session before your wedding day is the best thing you can do to get ready for your wedding day photos and also allows your photographer to see how you are in front of the lens. It’s like taking dance lessons – even if you already know how to dance, it can’t hurt to finess your moves a bit!

Anyways, I know I have nothing to worry about on Louise & Gordon’s wedding day – they were such an easy couple to photograph, absolute naturals (I think they surprised themselves!) Can’t wait for their wedding day!
