I always promise couples “don’t worry, even if it rains on your wedding day it’s not going to rain ALL day”. Megan & James’ wedding day was the first day that I’ve ever doubted that… however, sure enough as we were about to start their photos it miraculously stopped raining and just as we finished it started up again! As luck would have it I happened to have an umbrella the exact pink of Megan’s wedding colours too! HRM is my initials, but my mom says I should start telling people it stands for “Heather’s Rain Miracles” – we certainly always seem to have amazing rain karma! Congrats Megan & James on a beautiful wedding day and a (mostly) dry photo session!

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day? Bride & Groom: seeing each other for the first time!
Best wedding related decision: HRM of course!! We had a VERY rainy day! I really don’t think any other photographer could’ve pulled off the photos Heather and her assistants did!!
Favourite detail: How all the “pink” came together without being too much!
Advice for future brides & grooms: Just relax and have fun! Don’t worry about the small stuff, at the end of the day you’re married!
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? No, I couldn’t imagine a more perfect day! Even with 40mm + of rain!
Best surprise of the day: I went out the night before to buy black umbrellas for pictures and Heather just so happened to have a hot pink umbrella in her emergency kit! The pictures looked amazing with them!
Favorite HRM picture from the day (and why?): The pictures of me posed as Marilyn! I am a huge Marilyn Monroe fan and it just so happens we got married on her birthday!
