Niki and I arrived at the hotel to catch some getting ready photos of both Melissa and Dave before their ceremony. It is always great when the bride and groom get ready at the same location as I can stay with the girls while my assistant heads over to the boys hotel room to see what they are up to! Apparently in this case, they were getting in a little dance practice before the reception!

When we got to Sunnybrook Estates to setup for the ceremony, there was some serious debate going on about whether to hold the ceremony outdoors as planned or to move to an indoor room in case the gloomy clouds decided to let it pour. It it always nice to work with venues that are prepared for any situation, as the great people at Sunnybrook actually called Toronto Pearson Airport to ask when they predicted the storm would hit! Thankfully, it looked as though we would be in the clear and Melissa and Dave got their beautiful outdoor ceremony! We even managed to get in all of their portraits before the rain started!
