Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Simple and timeless elegance

What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: the first look, the first look of the ballroom seeing all the decor and planning come together.
Groom: the dinner and dessert buffet

Best wedding related decision: hiring HRM photography and Amy McNall (Unmistakably You) as our day of coordinator!

Favourite detail: wearing Birkenstocks all day (bride) and of course the amazing Delta Armouries dinner buffet… so much delicious food!

Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Having a little more time to visit guests at the tables and snapping a few more pictures with guests.

Best surprise of the day: receiving a bottle of Don Perrignon champagne from a random hotel guest!

Anything else you’d like to add: we were told by many that the day goes by so fast and to enjoy every moment. So we made sure we kept each other grounded and in the moment for that day and the couple days leading up to the wedding. Throughout the day we would take two seconds to check in with each other and take in that moment without a worry or thought of what was next on the schedule. As we’re both big planners this kept us present in the moment and we’re so grateful that even though the day feels like a blur, we’re still able to remember most details of the day!
