Happy New Year! We are looking forward to an amazing year to come in 2016, but still many 2015 (and even some 2014, oops!) weddings to blog! Sylvia & Spencer’s beautiful wedding at the London Hunt Club was absolute perfection!

Describe the vision/theme you had for your wedding in 5 words or less: Modern English teatime/high tea
What are you favorite memories of your wedding day?
Bride: Walking down the aisle with my dad and seeing all the people I love in that room
Groom: I loved all the speeches, they were very heartfelt.
Best wedding related decision: Having Designs in Bloom do the flower arrangements. Samirah took all my random centerpieces (teapots and books) and took the time to arrange them herself. It definitely took a lot of time and effort and they turned out even more amazing than I could have ever imagined!
Favourite detail: The teapots and silverware we used in some of the centerpiece arrangements. My mother-in-law and I hunted for them at garage sales for over a year. We had a polishing party to shine it all up!
Advice for future brides & grooms: Take a moment that day to step outside and just be alone with each other to take it all in. Try to talk to as many guests during dinner service (make your rounds to every table)- so that you aren’t pulled every which way after… and you can focus on partying the night away on the dance floor!
Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Nothing!
Best surprise of the day: Surprised my dad with a live performance of his favourite song for our father-daughter dance. He was so surprised that the wedding singer could sing the song in Cantonese.
Anything else you’d like to add: Can’t believe I had all the best vendors possible: HRM Photography, AV Artisian Production, Designs in Bloom
